Sybase Runs a few list servers...  They can be found on their web site
but are not heavily used.  you can send to majordomo@sybase.com
a message like the following:

subscribe inews-system11 <sqltech@tiac.net>
subscribe inews-sybase-web-update <sqltech@tiac.net>
subscribe inews-powersoft-web-update <sqltech@tiac.net>
subscribe inews-technews-summary <sqltech@tiac.net>

The last is the one i find most useful. This list provides a 
summary version of Sybase Tech News.
